Kingsport City Schools Announces 2023 Summer Meals for Kids Program

KINGSPORT, Tenn. – Kingsport City Schools School Nutrition Services department is providing no-cost meals with the Summer Meals for Kids program located at Jackson Elementary School (600 Jackson Street, Kingsport, TN 37660) and Robinson Middle School (1517 Jessee Street, Kingsport, TN 37664) beginning Tuesday, May 30, 2023.

The 2023 Seamless Summer Food Service Program is administered by the Tennessee Department of School Nutrition Services under an agreement with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). 

There are no income requirements to participate in this summer program. Children 18 years and younger must be present to be served a no-cost meal during serving times and eat meals on-site. 
 
No-cost meals will be served Monday – Friday to all children age 18 and under from May 30 – June 30, 2023. No meals will be served on weekends.

Breakfast will be served from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. and Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. located at Jackson Elementary and Robinson Middle.

To have meals delivered to Adams Elementary, Lincoln Elementary or Washington Elementary, you must call (423) 378.2243 before 10 a.m. for lunch that day and/or breakfast the next day.
 
To have meals delivered to Palmer Early Learning Center, Johnson Elementary or Dobyns-Bennett High School, you must call (423) 378.2211 before 10 a.m. for lunch that day and/or breakfast the next day.
