WHAT: Kingsport City Schools Parent University & SPED 101: Family Learning Event
WHEN: Monday, March 13, 2023 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
WHERE: Johnson Elementary School, 1001 Ormond Drive, Kingsport, TN 37664

On Monday, March 13, 2023, the Kingsport City Schools (KCS) Parent University initiative and the Special Education department will host a Family Learning Event from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. located at Johnson Elementary School.

The purpose of the event is to inform and discuss with parents and students the importance of mental and behavioral health, attendance, and the negative effects of truancy.

Dinner will be provided for attendees courtesy of the KCS Special Education department from 5:30 - 6 p.m. and the presentation and discussion will be held from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Childcare will be provided for children ages 3 - 8 years of age.

RSVP is required for dinner and childcare arrangements. Johnson Elementary is wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant.
